Completion of De Herbergier residential care complex in Voorthuizen

Last year we have entered into a partnership with De Drie Notenboomen for the realization of small-scale residential care facilities called De Herbergier, for people with memory problems. The first Herbergier resulting from this cooperation was completed in early June. The completely renovated characteristic building is close to the centre of Voorthuizen. There are good facilities nearby and a forest is also within walking distance. There are 16 apartments, which each resident can furnish to their own taste. Each room has a bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. There is also a large communal living room with an open kitchen. There is also a comfortable garden. A distinctive point of the Herbergier formula is a resident care duo. This duo provides support to the residents in terms of care, services, and well-being.
